TAVERNVEIL uses no advertising or analytics trackers.
- guardian_session: our first-party session cookie, used for login, form protection and this device’s notification association. It lasts for the browser session unless your browser restores it. Logging out clears the login session.
- Installed app / service worker: your browser stores the app registration and install details to open the app and handle offline notices and optional phone alerts. We do not cache private pages for offline reading.
- Notification permission and push subscription: saved by your browser only when you allow notifications. Control them under Updates → Phone notifications or in device/browser settings.
- Notification reminder preference: the device stores “Maybe later” / “Turn off” for seven days to respect your choice and avoid repeated prompts. This preference is not sent to us or used for tracking.
Essential login/security storage is necessary for the requested service. Notification delivery is optional. You can clear site storage through browser settings; doing so may sign you out or remove the install/notification settings. You can use the website without enabling phone alerts.
